Rosary for Jacqueline Hanley Ward will be said at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Jacqueline Hanley Ward, age 80, of Skiatook, died at 2:04 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Jacqueline was born July 4, 1935. She grew up and received her education in Butte high school graduating in 1952. Jacqueline also attended Nursing School in Butte. Jacqueline married James F. Ward in 1952 and they made their home in Butte, San Diego and moved to Skiatook in 1961 on a dairy farm West of Skiatook. Jacqueline had worked and managed convenient stores in Watertown, New York and in Skiatook. Jacqueline also was involved and over saw the Skiatook Shopper paper, Green Country Soccer Association, Cub Scott Leader, CCD Teacher for St. Williams Parrish and was a substitute teacher for Skiatook Public Schools. Jacqueline was also known at the Tiny Tot Shop where she was the Easter Bunny for several years. Jacqueline was also a Nurses Aid. Jacqueline loved her family and spending time with them.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her mother and father and husband.

Jacqueline is survived by her children: Roderick Ward, Carol Jean Ward, Phillip Ward, Kelvin Ward, Mitchell Ward and Matthew Ward, one sister: Irene Brewer, seventeen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services will be: Roderick Ward, Phillip Ward, Kelvin Ward, Mitchell Ward, Matthew Ward and Brent Yarbrough.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
