Jacqueline Joyce Throckmorton, a beloved member of the community and a treasured matriarch, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on January 13, 1929, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Ray and Ora (Watkins) Fusselman, Jacqueline lived a life filled with love, dedication, and passion.

Jackie, as she was affectionately known, grew up in Bartlesville and graduated in 1947. Demonstrating an early commitment to her craft, she attended beauty college, where she demonstrated her skills that would later lead her to own and operate Jackie's Hair Barn in Skiatook. For many years, she provided hairstyling services to countless clients, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who visited her salon.

Beyond her professional life, Jackie possessed a vibrant spirit that embraced various hobbies and interests. She found joy in crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistic talent. Additionally, Jackie had a notable collection of dolls, showcasing her appreciation for both beauty and craftsmanship.

Jackie's legacy lives on through her devoted husband, Bob, who stood by her side throughout their journey together. She is survived by three children, Mike Prince, Steve Prince, and Jeff Prince. Jackie is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Surritte, and brother, John Fusselman. The warmth of her family continues with her three grandchildren, Collin Prince, Jennifer Fingerlin, and Justin Prince, as well as several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ora Fusselman, who undoubtedly played significant roles in shaping the remarkable person she became.

Jackie's impact on those around her will forever be remembered, as her kindness and strength touched the lives of many. Her legacy will continue through the stories shared by her family and friends, ensuring that she remains a cherished part of their lives for years to come.
