Jack Afton Yarbrough, age 89, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Skiatook.

Private family services for Jack Yarbrough will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2020 with Pastor Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

A public Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Jack was born March 13, 1931 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Omer Alvin and Lillie (Cole) Yarbrough. Jack grew up and received his education at Wildhorse. Jack married Maudie Louise Smith on July 13, 1952. Jack was employed with Oklahoma Natural Gas where he was a heavy equipment operator for 35 years. Jack loved ranching, was a true cowboy, was involved with his church family, was active with his grandchildren and loved sitting on the porch.

Jack was preceded in death by his mother and father, 8 brothers and by 2 sisters.

Jack is survived by his wife; Maudie of the home, two children; David Yarbrough and wife Kelli and Denise Juby and husband James, three grandchildren; Josh Yarbrough, Jacob Yarbrough and wife Danielle and Jamie Juby, three great grandchildren; Adelynn, Sadie Yarbrough and Cameron Meade, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
