Imogene Louvena “Jean” (Crain) Holt

Funeral services for Jean Holt will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4th, 2018 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Stratton officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Jean Holt, age 90, of Skiatook, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Elmira, Ontario Canada.

Jean was born November 22, 1927 in Porum, Oklahoma to Andrew and Rena (Corbel) Crain. Jean grew up and received her education in Muskogee where she graduated in 1946. Jean married Ralph G. Holt on October 19, 1946 in Tulsa making their home in Tulsa and Skiatook. Jean moved to Elmira, Ontario Canada in 2008 where she has made her home with her son and daughter-in-law. Jean worked in a Doctor’s office where she was a receptionist and bookkeeper. Jean loved reading and working with ceramics.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Rena Crain, three brothers and by two sisters.

Jean is survived by her son: Dr. Dan G. Holt and wife Dr. Colleen Willard-Holt, grandchildren: Dr. Jason A. Holt and Eric N. Holt, five great grandchildren: Ethan, Elianna, Quinn, Sophia and Archer, one sister: Helen Rosson, one brother: Joe L. Crain, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Amazing Grace”.

Pallbearers for the service will be: Dr. Jason A. Holt, Eric N. Holt, Al Rosson, Don Laughlin and JL Holt.

The family of Jean Holt entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
