Imogene Hudspeth

Imogene Hudspeth, age 91, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 14, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family.

Celebrating the Life of Imogene will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, 2019 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Morgans officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Imogene was born March 29, 1928 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Daniel Earl and Ollie Kate (Outlaw) Smith. Imogene grew up and received her education in Tulsa.  Imogene married James Earl Hudspeth April 26, 1948in Skiatook where they had continued to make their home.  Imogene had worked for the Skiatook Nursing Home was a homemaker. Imogene also had worked as a teacher’s aid and worked in the cafeteria for Skiatook Public Schools. Imogene enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Imogene was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, five brothers, three sisters and by one daughter; Carlas Ellerman.

Imogene is survived by her children; Linda Hudspeth, James Hudspeth and wife Sally and Tim Hudspeth, one grandson; Mason Hudspeth, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
