Herman Andrew “Andy” Goodell

Funeral services for  Andy Goodell will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Jesse Madaffari and Rev. Gary Butler, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Andy Goodell, age 62, of Skiatook, died at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2016 at his Skiatook residence.

Andy was born September 16, 1953 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Ralph Avery Goodell Sr. and Agness Ellen Robinson. Andy grew up and received his education in Bartlesville graduating from high school in 1971. Andy also attended a year at O.U.. Andy married Lynne McCown in Batlesville. Andy later married Sylvia Landis on September 3, 1981 in Skiatook where they continued to make their home. Andy was a self-employed Welding Inspector. Andy liked hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. Andy was a member of the Skiatook Church of the Nazarene.

Andy was preceded in death by his mother and father and by one brother.

Andy is survived by his wife Sylvia of the home, children: Jason Goodell and wife Corie of Delaware, Aaron Goodell and wife Nikki of Skiatook, Sara Herren and husband Colt of Skiatook, Brett Goodell of  Skiatook and Emilee Goodell of the home, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters: Rebecca Fortanasce and Elizabeth Minden, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Go Rest High On That Mountain” and “My Chains Are Gone Amazing Grace”.
