Harvey Eugene Cope

Harvey Eugene Cope, age 84, of Tulsa went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, December 26, 2019 in Tulsa.

Harvey Eugene Cope was born November 24, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Herman and Agnus (Lord) Cope. Harvey married Mary Lee Winford on December 2, 1955. Harvey later married Mary Charlene Gruenwald on August 5, 2004. Harvey served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1981 when he received his honorable discharge after serving 26 years. Harvey worked as a fruit peddler and over the road truck driver until he retired. Harvey enjoyed spending time with family and friends, always willing to help anyone who needed help. Harvey was such a honorable man of his word. Harvey was a member of the Masons and the Shriners.  Harvey will be missed by all who knew him.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; Herman and Agnus Cope, wife; Mary Lee Cope, wife; Mary Charlene Cope, Three brothers; Raymond Lee Cope Sr., Clifford Ray Cope and Donald Cope Sr., two sisters; Ednamae Bodine and Dolly Sue Kratz, one son; Harvey Eugene Cope Jr and one daughter; Theresa Tiblow.

Harvey is survived by his siblings; JoAnn Ash, Kenneth Cope and Frank Eddie Cope, one son; Daniel Wayne Cope and wife Kimberly, stepchildren; Larry Parris, James Parris,  Machelle Beckham, Katrina Gomez, Daluya Gruenwald and Aeryanna Gruenwald, grandchildren; Angela Burton, Michael Cope, Hydee Tiblow, Richard Allen Tiblow Jr.,  Rachelle Tiblow, Carl Keith Salmon and Emily Salmon.

The family of Harvey Cope entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
