Harold Dean Basore, age 69, of Skiatook, died at 3:36 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at his Skiatook residence.
Harold was born February 20, 1946 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Clarence Louis and Laura Marie (Ward) Basore. Harold grew up and received his education in Barnsdall. Harold married Linda Kay Remington in 1961 and they made their home in Barnsdall until moving to Skiatook in 1981. Harold was a self-employed mechanic by trade. Harold liked hunting, fishing, computers and playing games.
Harold was preceded in death by his mother and father, two children, one brother and by one grandchild.
Harold is survived by his wife: Linda of the home, two children: Paula Pitts and husband Bobby and Billy Basore, two grandchildren: Tyler and Chris Hoffman, one brother: Earl Wayne Basore, one sister: Shirley Louise Clem, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private family interment will be held in Barnsdall.
Cremation services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
