Funeral services for Glenda Jean Vogt will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday February 12, 2019 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doyle Ginn officiating. Interment will follow in the Wann Cemetery in Oologah under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Glenda Jean Vogt, age 80, of Oologah, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her residence.

Glenda was born October 2, 1938 in Beaumont, Texas to Harold P. and Margaret (Phillips) Hill. She grew up and received her education at Holy Family where she graduated in 1956. Glenda married Bobby Fay Woodward in 1956 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas making their home in Tulsa. Glenda married Roy Vogt February 5, 1982 making their home in Oologah. Glenda worked as a waitress, worked at the Canteen, Rose Bowl Bowling Alley and at Bakers. Glenda liked reading watching movies and traveling.

Glenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Roy and two brothers: Harold Hill Jr. and Jerry Hill .

Glenda is survived by her five children: Monnette Taylor, Darrell Wayne Woodward, Dennis Ray Woodward, Bobby G. Woodward and Mark Allen Woodward, one brother: Tommy Hill, one sister: Nelda Gouladle, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Darrell Wayne Woodward, Dennis Ray Woodward, Bobby G. Woodward, Mark Allen Woodward, Greg Woodward and Alex Woodward.

Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace”, “Peace In The Valley”, “Farther Along” and the “Lighthouse”.

The family of Glenda Vogt entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
