GLENDA LEE HOLCOMB

Funeral services for Glenda Lee Holcomb will be held at 10:30 a.m. August 21, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Avant with Pastor Randy McKerley, Raymond Henson and Cheryl Salerno, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien- Shelton Funeral Home.

Glenda Holcomb, age 52, of Bartlesville, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Bartlesville.

Glenda was born on January 24, 1961 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Duane and Helen (Emery) Holcomb. She grew up north of Sand Springs, lived in Bartlesville most of her life. Glenda loved church, dancing and singing to her favorite songs, “Nothin But a Hound Dog” and “LaBomba” Elvis Presley, Burger King, Sonic, candy, clothes, shoes, purses, stuffed animals, dogs, babies, going to mommies for Christmas, family, all children and watching Golden Girls and Dr. Phil. Glenda loved life and loved unconditionally with a smile and a twinkle in her eye.

Glenda was preceded in death by her mother.

Glenda is survived by her dad Duane, siblings: John Holcomb and wife Kimberly of Collinsville, Linda Johnson of Broken Arrow, Brenda Martin of Parsons; KS, Duane Holcomb Jr. of Skiatook and Joel Holcomb of Tulsa and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the service are: Sean Holcomb, Ethan Holcomb, Dustin Thennes, David Silvy, Steve Silvy and Tim McKerley. Honorary casket escort Terry McKerley.

Music for the service: “How Great Thou Art” “Amazing Grace” and “Peace In The Valley” performed by Randy McKerley.

Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
