Gerry Boone Patton

Gerry Boone Patton, age 75, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, September 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Celebrating the Life of Gerry will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Family Worship Center with Rev. Monte Lovvorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home. Full military honors will accord Mr. Patton by the Skiatook American Legion Post 131.

Gerry was born August 21, 1944 in Leedey, Oklahoma to Robert Matthew and Elsie Mae (Wood) Patton. Gerry married Alice Renee Spurgeon on August 21, 1964 in Skiatook. Soon after their marriage he was drafted into the United States Army. Gerry was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington for four years. Gerry enjoyed hunting in his early years and collecting coins and tractors. Gerry loved spending time with his family and he especially enjoyed his pets. Upon returning to Oklahoma he began his career working for Southwestern Bell and retired after thirty-one years of service.

Gerry was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Elsie Patton, brother; Larry Patton and sister; Joy Sue Wilson.

Gerry is survived by his wife; Alice, sister; Barbara Nix, two daughters; Vickie Minton and husband Eddie and Sherry Patton, one son; Gerry Matthew Patton and wife Shailee, sister-in-law; Lula Patton, two nephews and one niece, nine grandchildren and their spouses and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Gerry Patton entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook
