Funeral services for Georgiana Louise Ricketts will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Riveted Church with Rev. Johnnie Faught, Rev. Jim Stratton and Scott Lohah, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Georgianna Louise Ricketts, age 72, of Skiatook, died at 10:02 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Georgianna was born September 17, 1941 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to George Jr. and Ruth (Hopper) Pratt. She grew up and received her education in Pawhuska graduating in 1959. She married Orville “Bud” Ricketts on November 9, 1963 in Pawhuska.  Georgianna and Bud lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where Bud was stationed in the United States Air force until 1970.  Georgianna and Bud later lived in Bartlesville and Tulsa, moving to Skiatook in 1973 where they have lived since that time. Georgianna was a homemaker and also had worked at Marr’s Elementary School as a teachers assistant. Georgianna enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, was a softball grandma, watching her favorite shows on TV, and spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Georgianna was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Georgianna was preceded in death by her mother and father, three brothers and by one grandson.

Georgianna is survived by her husband Bud of the home, her two daughters; Joanna Martin and her husband Shawn of Skiatook and Diana Faught and husband Mike of Skiatook, three brothers; Harrison Schackelford, Mike Schackelford and Anthony Schackelford all of Pawhuska, one sister; Mary Parker of Tulsa, two grandchildren; Katelyn Faught and Cole Martin, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services; Eastern Gate performed by; Ron Martin, Brenda Graves and Kathy Caughron and Taped music Go Rest High On That Mountain.

Casket escorts for the services are; Gary Freeny, Scott Winford, Danny Foster, Harrison Schackelford, Mike Schackelford and Anthony Schackelford. Honorary casket escorts are; Shawn Martin, Mike Faught, Terry Bush and Charlie Bowman.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home,
