Rosary for Geneva Martha Lowrey will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015 and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2015 both at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Geneva Martha Lowrey, age 86, of Skiatook, died at 6:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Geneva was born October 19, 1928 in Logan County, Oklahoma to Edward L. and Letha Darlene (Ecker) Archer. Geneva grew up and received her education in Skiatook where she graduated from high school in 1946. Geneva married Dallas Dale Lowrey on November 20, 1946 in Pawhuska and they made their home in Broken Arrow and Skiatook. Geneva was a nurse for Dr. James Coder for over thirty years. Geneva liked painting, china painting, arts crafts and dancing. Geneva was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church in Broken Arrow and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Skiatook.

Geneva was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, one son: Jay Lowrey and by one son-in-law David Ingersoll.

Geneva is survived by her four children: Patricia Ann Ingersoll of Skiatook, Juanita Marie Weddington of Tulsa, Peter Michael Lowrey of Broken Arrow and Cecelia Marlene Cook of Skiatook, two sisters: Mary Lee Reamy of Coweta and Vera Marie Valento of Skiatook, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts for the services are: Pete Lowrey, James Weddington, Dathan Weddington, Marty Ingersoll, James Lowrey and Josh Lowrey.

Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
