Funeral services for Gary Don Bowman will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Sperry with Ricky Harvey and Billy Bowman, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Gary Don Bowman was born February 18th, 1951 to Clarence and Helen Bowman in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On July 17th, 2017 surrounded by family and friends Gary took the hand of the Lord and peacefully rode off into the sunset.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his two children George Bowman and wife Debbie of Skiatook, Oklahoma and daughter Racheal Johnson and husband Darren of Sperry, Oklahoma, also loving girlfriend, Sherry Ridge, six grandchildren Alisha Bullard, Aaron Williams, Baylee Johnson, Clay Johnson, Leah Bowman and Nicole Bowman and three great grandchildren. Gary is also survived by three brothers Bob and Sandra Bowman of Tulsa, Kenny and Michelle Bowman of Broken Arrow and Larry Bowman of Prattville, numerous nieces and cousins with special appreciation to Kelly and Arlenna Anderson.
Casket escorts for the services will be: Buel Jobe, Jim Seago, Kelly Anderson, Kenny Hawkins, Danny Landsaw and Little Jim Seago. Honorary casket escorts will be: Bud Ford, Wayne Woods, Stan Williamson, Clay Johnson, Justin Anderson, Mike Smith and Tommy Coyle.
