Frances Geniva “Belle” Ritchie
Frances “Bell’ Ritchie age 87, of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, December 24, 2022 at her residence.
Belle was born July 8, 1935 in Wildhorse, Oklahoma to Arlie Joseph and Mary Ann "Dollie" (Peters) Jones. She grew up and received her education in Wildhorse and Skiatook and graduated from Wildhorse High School in 1953. Belle married Claude Andrew "C.A." Ritchie on April 30, 1955 in Miami, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Houston, Texas before moving to Skiatook. She was employed as a laborer at Munsingwear in Hominy Oklahoma. She was a member of the Community Lighthouse Church in Skiatook and enjoyed watching soaps and working crosswords, but most of all she loved spending time with family.
Belle was preceded in death by her husband: C.A., mother and father: Dollie and Arlie, daughter: Debbie Ritchie, great great granddaughter: Lyla Downing, four brothers, and two sisters.
Belle is survived by her children: Claudia Dohn, Jeff Ritchie, Britany Ritchie, sister: Jo Bugg and husband Jack, brother-in-law: Len Merchant, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Belle Ritchie entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
