Ezequiel Lopez Jr.
Ezequiel Lopez Jr., age 30, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa.
Ezequiel was born December 14, 1990 in Houston, Texas to Ezequiel Lopez and Esmeralda Macias. He grew up with his grandmother, Gloria Ponce, and received his education from Sam Houston High School in 2009 and he attended a few classes at Houston Community College. He was very active with the Impact Houston Church of Christ, which led him to relocate to Tulsa, OK in 2011 to work with children at the Contact Church, a job which his love for Jesus, genuine concern for people, and life experiences made him perfect for. He later began working with and managing Tater Hedz, working late nights and early mornings to cut and deliver french fries and help train and give ex-felons much needed job experience. He eventually made his home in Skiatook with his fiancé and love of his life, Quaitsey Hamil. Ezequiel enjoyed cooking, smoking meat, making tamales, drawing, spending time with family and friends, and left everyone whose path he crossed with a smile on their face.
Ezequiel is survived by his fiancé, Quaitsey Hamil, two precious children, Kaylin and Isaiah, grandmother, Gloria Ponce, and a host of other relatives and friends. He will be dearly missed by all.
The family of Ezequiel Lopez Jr. entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Skiatook.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to RCB Bank to the Ezequiel Lopez Memorial Fund.
