Esther Lea (Bell) Driskell
Funeral services for Esther Lea Driskell will be held 3:30 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, graveside in the Osage Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Waylon Pendelton officiating. An internment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Esther Lea Driskell, age 74, of Skiatook, passed from this life on Monday January 27, 2014 at her residence. Esther was born in Tulsa, November 30, 1939 to Melvin and Edith (Hancock) Bell, raised in the Tulsa area and graduated from Turley High School married Tom Driskell the boy from across the street, the happy couple moved several times and then settled in Sperry. Esther loved to travel “Road Trips”, she loved the Ocean. Esther loved to shop the thrift stores looking for clothes for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Esther loved to have family gatherings at her house sitting back watching everyone eat and having a good time.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Tom Driskell, two sisters, and one great grandchild
Esther is survived by six children ;Debbie, Cathy, Brenda, Eddie, Teresa, and Kellie, 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Caskets escorts for the services are; Marshall Stevens, Tommy Driskell, Jerry Ray, Kyle Ray, Brian Coonce, and Eddie Driskell.
Music for the services are “Go Rest High On That Mountain”, “Amazing Grace”, This Is Not My Home”.
Funeral services and interment will be under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
