Elmer "Bill" Mills

Elmer “Bill” Mills, age 92, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior at 5:00 a.m. Friday, January 26, 2024, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville.

Bill was born May 11, 1931, in Yellville, Arkansas to Anna (Sewell) and Elmer Mills Sr. Bill grew up and received his education in Yellville, Arkansas where he graduated in 1949. Bill married Patricia Jean “Pat” Topete in Turley, Oklahoma making their home in Tulsa until moving to Skiatook in 1971.Bill served his country proudly in the United State AirForce. Bill was employed with American Airlines where he was a purchasing agent until his retirement in 1987. Bill loved to research Ancestry.com, fishing, watching his grandkids sports, dancing, playing dominoes, was a Chums member and spending time with his family. Elmer was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Skiatook.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Anna and Elmer Mills Sr., and wife Pat.

Bill is survived by his three children; Sheril Lewis and husband Jerry, Kenny Mills and wife Judy and Greg Mills, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of friends.

The family of Elmer “Bill” Mills entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
