Memorial services for Edwin Lee Hale will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Avant House of Prayer with Pastor Bryson Sprague, officiating. Private family interment will be held.

Edwin Lee Hale, age 76, of Tulsa, died at 1:12 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the O.S.U. Medical Center in Tulsa.

Edwin was born November 14, 1938 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Hubert Francis “Bill” and Joyce Lucille (Bush) Hale. Edwin grew up and received his education in Sand Springs graduating from high school in 1957. Edwin married Michelle Marie Janson on October 21, 1998 in Tulsa where they have made their home since that time. Edwin was a truck driver for forty one year’s driving for various different companies. Edwin liked agitating family and friends and was very good at it, but most of all he liked spending time with his family.

Edwin was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Edwin is survived by his wife; Michelle of the home, four children; Terri Sappington, Lance Hale, Johnathan Janson and Noah Janson, two brothers; Tommy Hale and Lonnie Hale, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two nieces and by a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; “In The Garden”, “Amazing Grace” and “Grandpa”.

Memorial Services and Cremation Services are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
