Edwena Lee "Win" Maddox, age 73, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024 in Skiatook.
Win was born July 24, 1950 in Denver, Colorado to Jess H. and Bettylou Edwa (Rhoades) Nicholas. Win grew up and received her education in Tulsa and Ft. Leonard Wood and graduated from Waynesville High School. Win married Daniel Earl Maddox on December 27, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma making their home in Waynesville, Missouri, Tulsa and Skiatook. Win worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for St. John Medical Center, Tulsa Regional Medical Center/OSO and also was self-employed as a Medical Transcriptionist. Win loved sewing, quilting, ceramics, spending time with her family and friends. Win was active in the church where she had attended Ranch Acres Baptist Church and most recently Lakeview Southern Baptist Church.
Win was preceded in death by her Husband: Daniel Maddox, Parents; Jess H. Nicholas and Bettylou Edwa Knight and by one Son; Christopher Lee Maddox.
Win is survived by her two Sons; J. Maddox and Dallas Maddox, Sister; Sherri Searles and husband Dave, Brother; Nick Raymond Resetz and wife Michiko, seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family of Win Maddox entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Win had requested instead of flowers remember the beautiful things she had made during her life.
