Edward Lee Vinson

Edward Lee Vinson, age 74, of Barnsdall went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, January 7, 2022 at his Barnsdall residence.

Ed was born September 3, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Howard and Armella (Sample) Vinson. Ed grew up and received his education in Tulsa graduating from Daniel Webster High school in 1965. Ed married Anne Marie Hurd on March 7, 1997, in Avant making their home in Barnsdall. Ed served his country when he entered into the United States Army in 1965 and received his honorable discharge in 1967. Ed was employed with the City of Tulsa where he worked in the sewer department. Ed was of the Baptist Faith. Ed loved fishing and turkey hunting.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother; John and sister; Diane.

Ed is survived by his wife; Anne of the home, children; Holly Robinson, Melissa, Jason Latty, Tony Latty, Andy Latty, Kayla Vinson and Emily Vinson, brother; Roy Vinson, sister; Darlene Neal, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Ed Vinson entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with his care and services.
