Edward Ralph Davis Sr.

Edward Ralph Davis Sr, age 91, of Skiatook, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Claremore.

Edward was born November 14, 1925 in Longmont, Colorado to W.M. and Nettie (Cochran) Davis. He grew up and received his education in Longmont. Edward married Ellen Mae Burwell on July 7, 1947 in Pierce City, Missouri making their home in Wyoming,, Colorado, Tulsa, Sperry and Skiatook since 1971. Edward was a homebuilder and Painting Contractor. Edward entered into the United States Navy November 14, 1942 when he had turned 17 and received his honorable discharge in December 17, 1945. Edward entered into the United States Army on January 24, 1951 and received his honorable discharge on July 20, 1949. Edward was a member of the American Legion. Edward liked mowing and gardening.

Edward was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Ellen of 64 years, one infant daughter Patricia Davis, three sisters and by two brothers.

Edward is survived by his three sons: Edward R. Davis Jr., Michal Davis and Scott A. Davis, nine grandchildren, numerous great and great – great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be no services at family request.

The family of Edward Ralph Davis Sr. entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
