Edna Lee Sappington

Edna Lee Sappington, age 69, of Collinsville went to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:47 A.M. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.

Edna was born September 11, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Leroy and Macie (Strickland) Sappington. Edna grew up and received her education in Owasso where she graduated in 1973. Edna also attended Beauty School where she received her Beautician’ Licenses. Edna was not only a beautician she also was an over the road truckdriver, worked in various banks where she was a bill collector, and was currently working for Macy’s Distribution Center where she worked in Packing and Receiving.  Edna liked visiting and spending time with her family, fishing and sports.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; Leroy Sappington and Macie Hogard, and by one brother; Clarence Sappington.

Edna is survived by her two children; Rodney Ivey and Cynthia Ivey and wife Robin, two grandchildren; Austin Ivey and Olivia Ivey, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Edna Lee Sappington entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
