Funeral services for Edna Louise Frost will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Rainbolt, officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, Oklahoma under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Edna Louise Frost age 79, of Skiatook, died at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Claremore Indian Hospital in Claremore.

Edna was born December 15, 1933 in Porter, Oklahoma to Raymond and Flossie (Downing) Cook. She grew up and received her education in Porter until the age of 16 when her family moved to California where she completed her education graduating from high school in 1951. Edna married Eddie Chavez in California. Later she married Nathan Frost in Las Vegas and made their home in Verdigris, Nathan preceded her in death in 2004. She was employed as a laborer for various different company’s.  Edna liked to travel and go to the casino’s.

Edna was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Nathan, two brothers and by one sister.

Edna is survived by her son; Mark Chavez and wife Liz of Bakersfield, CA, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts are; Carl Downing, Jimmy Downing, Paul Downing, Terry O’Brien, Doug Rainbolt and Oren Cook.
