E. Ann (Coulter) Jones

Emalene Ann Coulter Jones was born on March 10, 1931 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK.

She married Vernon Jones on December 31, 1949 at Immaculate Conception Church in Tulsa.  Together they had 10 children; Kathryn Merry from  Eureka Springs, Vernette Lamb from Skiatook, Teresa Peterson from Skiatook, Pat Jones, from Skiatook, Chris Jones, from Owasso, Julianne Ward from Dallas, Texas, Craig Jones from Wichita, Kansas, Sandi Beree from Owasso, and Candi Pitezel from Shreveport, Louisiana.  Ann had 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; George and Eula (klein) Coulter, husband Vernon LeRoy Jones and son Michael Lee Jone.

Ann and her family quickly became members of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church after moving to Skiatook in 1970.  She was a faithful member there for 44 years.   She retired from Hillcrest Medical Center in 1993 after being employed for 23 years.

She loved cooking for family and friends. Her hobbies were quilting and fishing but she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her kids.

Honorary casket escorts for the services will be; Matthew Johnson, Michael Johnson, Dallas Peterson, Darin Coggins, Jonathan Saltz, Cody Jones, Clint Jones, Xavier Thompson and Avery Jones.
