Dorvin Wayne Stogsdill

On August 14th, 1945, Earnest and Marie Stogsdill welcomed into the world their youngest child. Dorvin Wayne Stogsdill was born at the family home in Grove Oklahoma.

Dorvin passed through the gates of heaven on May 10th, 2019 at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 27 days.

Dorvin was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Marie Stogsdill and brothers Jimmy, Herb, Gene, Percy, and Dean Stogsdill, and sisters Hazel Elliott and Patty Johnson.

Dorvin is  survived by his wife of the home, Judy Stogsdill of Skiatook OK, Daughter Marlene Taylor and husband Damon Taylor of Collinsville, Ok, daughter Julie Dodson and husband Darrell Dodson of Skiatook, Ok, son Darrin Stogsdill and wife Shellie Stogsdill of Oklahoma City, Ok, and daughter Lindsey Stogsdill of Skiatook, Ok. and brother Morris Stogsdill of Grove, OK

Dorvin is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Bailey Dodson, Shelby Kohler, Kory Stogsdill, Kennedie Dodson, Marlie Taylor, Emma and Ava Stephens, and Piper Kohler.

Dorvin worked hard all his life to provide for his wife and family. He spent 21 years at Oklahoma Steel and went on to work as an inspector for another 14 years at Crosby-Mckissick before retiring in 2008.
