Dorothy Nadine (Haynes) Thornton

Dorothy Nadine Thornton, age 69, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in Skiatook.

Dorothy was born December 22, 1952 in Foyil, Oklahoma to King Ollen and Alma (Strother) Haynes. Dorothy grew up and received her education in Wynona, Missouri. Dorothy married Robert Leon Thornton on January 9, 2003 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas making their home in Skiatook since that time. Dorothy was a caretaker for many people in the community.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; King and Alma Haynes, husband; Robert Thornton, two brothers; Kenneth Haynes and Raymond Moss, two sisters; Darlene and Patsy Reed, and daughter; Kristine White.

Dorothy is survived by her children; John White, Steven White, Robert White, Matthew White, Parker White, Cody White, Laryssa Thornton and Kelci Thornton, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Dorothy Thornton entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with her care and services.
