Memorial services for Dorothy Eagan will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Remnant Church Of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Church with Elder Steve VanMeter, officiating.

Dorothy Eagan, age 98, of Skiatook, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the St. John Medical center in Tulsa.

Dorothy was born July 31, 1919 in Sperry, Oklahoma to Alonzo and Willa Mae (Bland) Harper. She grew up and received her education in Sperry where she graduated in 1938. Dorothy married Leon Eagan. Dorothy was employed with Douglas during World War II. Dorothy was employed with Tulsa city County Health department as well as Hillcrest Medical Center where she worked in Medical Records. Dorothy was a member of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Dorothy liked to crochet, sew, Quilt and enjoyed gardening.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother and father, husband Leon, five brothers, two sisters and two daughters: Sharon and Judy.

Dorothy is survived by he son: Mike Eagan and wife Linda, seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace”, “In The Garden” and “God Bless America”.

The family of Dorothy Eagan entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
