Donald Chester Ashlock, was born to Virgil Leslie Ashlock and Opal Rose Siedlik Ashlock on November 23, 1935, in Turley, OK. He passed from this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2021, in Branson, MO.
In August 1953, at a tender age of 18 years old, he married the late Vida Mae Kendrick Ashlock Turley. Together they bought a home on North Victor Avenue in Turley and raised a family of three sons while being employed with Jack Grimes Station. He conducted many business adventures to include at once time owning his own Don Ashlock's Pemco Service Station located at 1910 North Lewis and a dairy and cattle farm in Beggs, OK.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Whisler Ashlock, Branson, MO; a son, Terry Lee Ashlock of Skiatook, OK; grandchildren Michelle Ashlock, Tulsa; Terry Daniel & Kimberly Ashlock, Claremore; Brandon Ashlock, Beggs; Lisa Marie Ashlock, Skiatook; and Jesse Lee Ashlock, Skiatook. Great grandchildren include Ashley Nixon, Owasso; Anthony Willhite, Tulsa; Kailen Ashlock, Skiatook; Kaydyn Scarborough, Skiatook; Ari Ashlock, Athi Ashlock, Olivia Belle Ashlock, and Memphis Ashlock, all of Claremore, OK; James Kleemer of South Dakota and three great great grandchildren. Siblings Clarence and Willie Ashlock, Skiatook; and Waneta Ashlock Wilkens of Tulsa. Several nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in his journey by both parents, sister Darlene Ashlock Maner (2012), brothers Ervin Lee Ashlock (2012) and Leslie Dean Ashlock (2021). Sons Donald Ray Ashlock (2021) and Larry Ashlock (2021); Grandchildren Krystal Faye Ashlock (2014), Jason Mitchell Ashlock (2014), and Stevie Ray Ashlock (2021) and daughter-in-law Dayna Horsechief Ashlock (2022).
