Dolores Lee (Hopkins) Dewalt

Dolores Lee DeWalt, 80, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, March 15,
2014 in Tulsa.

Dolores was born February 2, 1934 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Gilford and
Bertha (Daves) Hopkins.  She grew up and received her education in Tulsa and Barnsdall, graduated high school in 1952 and then attended the
Draughon School of Business.  She married the late Jerry DeWalt in 1954 and made their home in Barnsdall, McAlester, and Ada. Dolores was a correspondence specialist with Prepaid Legal Services Inc. for 30 years.   She had a great love of music, the outdoors, and animals of all kinds.


Dolores was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother, one
sister, and her infant daughter Susie.


Dolores is survived by her three children: Gina Grotzinger and Carl of
Tulsa OK, David DeWalt and Jerri of Calera, OK and Angie DeWalt and Chris Tennefos of Tulsa OK; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton
Funeral Home.
