Debra Irene (Blackwell) Wamego

The visitation for Debra will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 P.M.  Sunday July 14, 2024, with services at 3:00 P.M. in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. Debra’s favorite color was purple. For those attending the visitation or service the family request that you wear something purple in memory of Debra.

Debra Irene Wamego, age 67, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at the Ascension St. John Hospital in Tulsa.

Debra was born July 16, 1956, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Clyde Evans and Thelma (Newman) Blackwell. Debra was a 1974 graduate of McClain High School in Tulsa. Debra was employed with Flight Safety Simulation where she was a Flight Safety Inspector. Debra was also employed with Ron’s in Skiatook. Debra liked going to the casino, gardening, playing card games, and loved her cats. Debra loved purple.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents; Clyde and Thelma Blackwell, two brothers, a son: Terry Blackwell.

Debra is survived by her children, Robert Wamego Jr. and wife Kimberly, Jason Wamego and Renee Morrison, companion, Ralph Haynes, grandchildren, Carly Wamego, Cole Wamego, Coby Wamego, Taelor Wamego, Riley Stewart, and Eli Wamego, and a great grandchild, Kinsley Wamego, loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephew Chris Blackwell and wife Dovey and their children, Rachel, Jacob and Sarah, and a host of other relatives and friends.
