Dean "Deno" Alan Lester

Dean Alan “Deno” Lester, age 54, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Tulsa.

Funeral services for Dean Alan “Deno” Lester will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Dawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Stillwater under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Deno was born April 18, 1967 in Edmond, Oklahoma to David Alan and Karen Etta (Scott) Lester. Deno grew up and received his education in Stillwater where he graduated with the Class of 1985. Deno married Tonya Annette Mahan on March 19, 1994 in Perkins, Oklahoma where they lived until moving to Skiatook in 1999. Deno was a custom cabinet maker who was a partner in Wooden Solutions for many years in Skiatook. Most recently he was an owner of H&L Custom cabinets also in Skiatook.  Deno loved hunting, fishing, race horses, story telling, coaching basketball, football and baseball. Deno loved his family and loved spending time with them and teasing and tormenting the kids. Deno will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Deno is survived by his wife; Tonya of the home, children; Tyson Lester, Jordan Lester, Casen Lester, mother and father; Karen and David Lester, brothers; Scott Lester and wife Carla and JJ Lester and wife Tommie, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services; “When I Get To Where I’m Going”, “I Want To Come Home”, “Amazing Grace” and I Can Only Imagine”.

Pallbearers are Larry Steele, Tim Teel, Chet Cundiff, Brandon Houston, John Luster and Joe Hoover.

The family of Deno Lester entrusted the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home with his care and services.
