David Lee Wells, age 81, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Tulsa.

David was born October 10, 1940 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Hubert Harrison and Opal Caley (Aud) Wells. David grew up and received his education in Broken Arrow. David entered into the United States Marine Corps. In 1959 and received his honorable discharge in 1961. David married Elanore Lee French on April 1, 1970 in Miami, Oklahoma making their home most their married life in Skiatook. David and Elanore have made their home in Owasso for the past 9 years. David was employed as a Construction Superintendent. David was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Skiatook. David loved fishing, stockcar racing, rodeos and baseball.

David was preceded in death by his parents; Hubert and Opal Wells, brother; Don Wells, daughter; Darla Bethel, sister; Emma Lou Rogers and granddaughter; Ashley Bethel.

David is survived by his wife; Elanore of the home, children; Darrin Wells and wife Samantha, David C. Line, Justin Eugene Wells and wife Penny, John Eric Wells and wife Marlene and Marc Alan Wells and wife Angela, two brothers; Johnny Ellis Wells and Roger Dale Wells, sister; Carolyn Gardner, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of David Lee Wells entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
