David Leon Schnaubert

David Leon Schnaubert, 56, passed away May 18, 2014 in Skiatook, OK.
David was born October 10, 1957 in Hobbs, New Mexico, the son of Thomas (Tootie) and Betty Schnaubert.  He was raised in Hobbs, New Mexico and graduated from Hobbs High School.
David was a meat cutter and market manager for his family's grocery store "Tooties" in Hobbs, New Mexico until moving to Tulsa in 2001.   After moving to Tulsa, he worked for Reasors grocery store and Petty's Fine Foods in their meat departments.  David was a very dedicated employee and he loved his job.
David was very active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles serving as president in Hobbs and as an Eagles state officer for New Mexico.  He was also an officer at the American Legion and for the Moose lodge.
David loved life and was very social.  He enjoyed dancing, traveling, outdoor grilling, hanging out at the pool,  and spending time with his family.  He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
David is preceded in death by his daughter, Lena Schnaubert; father, Thomas Schnaubert; and brother, Chuck Schnaubert.
David is survived by his wife, Susan Schnaubert; mother, Betty Schnaubert; mother-in-law Deannie Brownlee; daughters, Amanda Bailey and husband, James Bailey; Ashley Jones and husband, Chris Jones; Samantha Grist and husband, Jason Grist; Ronnie Cox and husband, Travis Cox; brothers, John Schnaubert; Scott Schnaubert and spouse Billy Schnaubert; sisters, Beverly Rogers and spouse Dewayne Rogers; Jan Pearce and spouse Steve Pearce; and Diane Schnaubert;  13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
