David Earl Eller

November 18, 1942 — July 19, 2021

On November 18, 1942, in a little house, on south Osage, next to the old high school, David Earl Eller was born to Hermon Edri and Lois Bernadene Carter Eller. He was the first of four children. After him came Glenda Eller Freeman, Thelma Eller Holt Benson and Troy Dale Eller. David grew up in Skiatook and graduated with the class of 1960. In 1967 he married the love of his life, Carol Sue Dobbs. In 1967 David went to work for the Tulsa Police Department and retired a detective in 1987.  After retirement, he went to work for Skiatook Public Schools driving the vo-tech bus through the 90's. David and Carol Sue were avid Skiatook Bulldog fans, especially when their kids and grandkids were participating. David was active in the Skiatook Wrestling program for nearly 25 years. They loved to travel with friends and family. David and Carol Sue were members of Lakeview Baptist Church. He is survived by two children: Son, Brian David Eller and wife Rhonda, daughter Angela Renee Henderson and husband John. He was also survived by his grandchildren: Ashley Sodaro, BreAnna Perigo and husband Harley, Baylee Branscum and husband Caleb, David Blake Henderson, Molly Henderson. At the end the real enjoyment for David and Sue were their great grandkids, Kal Everest, Jaylan Dawn, Collin Ray, Brynlee Denise and James Colter. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be missed by many.
