Funeral services for Danny Wayne Walker will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Bluejacket Cemetery in Bluejacket, Oklahoma. Interment will follow in the Bluejacket cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Danny Wayne Walker, age 63, of Tulsa, died at 3:36 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
Danny was born August 29, 1951 in Oklahoma City to John Virgil and Ruby Lotus (Taylor) Walker. Danny grew up and received his education in Tulsa graduating from high school in 1969. Danny also attended Oklahoma Junior College and received his Master’s Degree from Langston College. Danny entered into the United States Air Force in 1972 and retired in 1987. While working in the Military Danny worked in Military Personnel. Danny also had worked for UBA Heat and Manager for Church’s Chicken. Danny liked music, shopping and play bingo.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Danny is survived by his three brothers: John Virgil Walker and wife Rita, Terry Lee Walker and wife Cheryl and David Allen Walker and wife Jeannie, three nieces: Traci Owen, Jennifer Lloyd and Ashlee Martin, two nephews: Justin Walker and Travis Walker.
Music for the services will be: “The Lord’s Prayer”
Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
