Memorial services for Daniel Ott Petrunak will be held at 10:00 a.m.Friday in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Earleen Reedy, officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial services and cremation are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Daniel Ott Petrunak, age 66, of Avant, passed away at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Skiatook Nursing Home.

Daniel was born February 28, 1950 in Erie, Pennsylvania to William and Wilma Rae (Pflueger) Petrunak. Daniel grew up and received his education in Tulsa where he graduated from McClain High School. Daniel also attended O.S.U. Okmulgee. Daniel served in the United States Navy from 1973 through 1982. Daniel married Susan Smith on October 7, 2003 in Winchester, West Virginia making their home in Tulsa most their married lives. Daniel was a machinist most his life working for various machine shops. Daniel liked trains, bridges, football, singing and working on model airplanes. Daniel was a member of the American Legion.

Daniel was preceded in death by his mother and father and by one brother.

Daniel is survived by his wife: Susan, three children: Kevin Petrunak, Crystal Petrunak and Casey Petrunak, stepchildren: Sharlie Hanson and Greg McCord, sisters: Kim Basham and Christy Hodge, brother: Kirk Petrunak, 15 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
