Daniel Earl Maddox

Daniel Maddox, age 80, of Skiatook, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his residence.

Daniel was born September 9, 1942 in Rolla, Missouri to Howard Harvey and Rosetta May (Salter) Maddox. He grew up and received his education in Waynesville, Missouri and graduated from high school in 1960. Daniel married Edwena “Win” Nicholas on December 27, 1967 in Tulsa where they made their home before moving to Skiatook and living there for the last 21 years. He was a journeyman meat cutter and meat market manager for Safeway and was also a Tulsa Auxiliary Policeman. Daniel attended Waynesville First Baptist Church, Ranch Acres Baptist, and Sperry First Baptist Church. His hobbies included woodworking, guns, coins, and collecting Snoopy memorabilia. Daniel was a movie buff and theater manager and loved life.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents: Howard and Rosetta, son: Christopher Maddox, brothers: Howard Harvey Maddox Jr. “Bud”, Harold David Maddox, and sister: Dorothy Roam.

Daniel is survived by his wife: Win, children: J. Edward Maddox, Dallas Wayne Maddox, daughter-in-law: Cassandra Maddox, grandchildren: Nicholas Jason Maddox, Layne Toska Maddox, Indiana Joseph Maddox, Harrison Patrick Maddox, Cheyanne Costiloe Maddox, Parker Daniel Maddox, Zoe Skylar Rey Maddox, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Daniel Maddox entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
