Colin "Kelley" Beene

Colin “Kelley” Beene, age 79, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 23, 2022 at his residence.

Funeral services for Kelley Beene will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June28, 2022 at the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sperry with David Jobe and High Priest Steve VanMeter presiding.

Kelley was born June 4, 1943 in Rural Sperry to Otis Leon and Thelma Lottie (Williamson) Beene. Kelley grew up and received his education in Sperry where he graduated with the Class of 1961. Kelley also attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in 1965. Kelley married Elizabeth Ann “Beth” Whiteman on June 6, 1964 in Sperry and making their home in Skiatook most their married lives. Kelley was a Businessman and Rancher. Kelley worked for Skiatook Public Schools where he was a Ag Teacher, was Branch manager/Loan Officer and Assistant Vice President of the Exchange Bank of Skiatook and the American Bank of Skiatook. Kelly was also a pipeline inspector and owned and operated B&S Leather in Skiatook. Kelley loved to go fishing, hunting, roping and work with leather. Kelley was a member of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sperry.

Kelley was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Lottie Beene.

Kelley is survived by his wife of 58 years; “Beth” Beene, two children; son; Bryan Beene and wife Monica, daughter; Amy Seago, one sister; Ila Fern Hudlin and husband Charles, three grandchildren; Clay Beene, Kyanne Beene and Sawyer Seago and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art”. Music for the video will be theme songs of; “Lonesome Dove”, “Dances With Wolves” and “For Open Range”.

Pallbearers will be; Clay Beene, Sawyer Seago, Darrin Willhite, Wayne Beene, Robert Jobe and Leonard Berryhill. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Jay Chalfant, Gayle Prather and Don Gaddy.

The family of Kelley Beene entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
