Cody LeAnn (Harris) Hopkins
Funeral services for Cody LeAnn Hopkins will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the First Baptist Church West Rogers Campus with Rev. Bill Taylor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
Cody LeAnn Hopkins, age 34, of Mannford and former Skiatook resident, passed away, Friday, January 13, 2017 at her Mannford residence.
Cody was born November 29, 1982 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Tommy Edward and Judy Ann (Gourd) Harris. Cody grew up and received her education in Skiatook graduating in 2001. Cody also attended TCC and Rogers State where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. Cody married Adam Troy Hopkins on May 15, 2015 in Destin, Florida making their home in Skiatook and Mannford. Cody was employed with Hillcrest Medical Center where she was a Registered Nurse and had previously worked for Bailey Medical Center and the Exchange Bank. Cody liked going to the lake, going to concerts, watching scary movies, shopping and playing with her dogs.
Cody was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents Henry and Joella Gourd.
Cody is survived by her husband: Adam, son: Bennett Gourd Hopkins, stepson Kyler Hopkins, father Tommy Harris, step father Bill Taylor, brothers Justin Harris and wife Brandy, Russell Gearhardt, sisters: Cheyney Taylor and Tanya Earls, mother in-law and father in-law: Tommy and Chris Hopkins, sister-in-law: April Blackburn and husband John, brother-in-laws: Robby Hopkins and wife Missy and Coyte Hopkins and wife Angie, grandmother Zelda Harris and step-grandmother Wanda Munson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace” in Cherokee, “Photograph”, “Forever Young”, and "Sissy's Song".
Casket escorts will be: Justin Harris, Kyler Hopkins, Sheldon Newton, Robby Hopkins, John Blackburn and Terry Cook. Honorary casket escorts will be: Micheal Fulgium, Gage Blackburn, Coyte Hopkins and Tommy Hopkins.
The family of Cody LeAnn Hopkins entrusted her care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
