Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the St. Cecilla Catholic Church in Claremore with Father Sylvanus Amaobi, presiding. Interment will follow at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Clifford was born July 23, 1929 in Humbolt, Kansas to James H. and Clara Bertha (Willhite) Hunt. He grew up and received his education in Humbolt. Clifford married Josephine Charpentier on September 12, 1950 in Camrose Alberta Canada making their home traveling all over the country before settling in Tulsa, Oologah and Claremore. Clifford entered into the United States Army September 5, 1951 and received his honorable discharge September 4, 1959. Clifford was a 32nd degree Mason and was active with the Shriners. Clifford worked the pipelines for CRC and for various other companies. Clifford loved doing things with his kids, fishing, golfing and moose hunting. Clifford and Mary enjoyed Ballroom Dancing.

Clifford was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Mary, one son: Charles Henry, one brother and by one sister.

Clifford is survived by his daughter: Kathryn Post, two brothers: Charles Hunt and Calvin Hunt, four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great –great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Casket escorts are: Kholter Hunt, Adrian Koscilski, Brandon Hunt, Grant Hunt, Kasey Hunt and Shawna Koscilski.

The family of Clifford Riley Hunt entrusted his care and services to Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
