Clarence Edward Cox

Clarence Edward Cox, age 84, of Skiatook went to be with his Lord and Savior at 1:07 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 in Tulsa.

Clarence was born August 5, 1939, in Binger, Oklahoma to Freddie Clarence and Edna Lee (Lair) Cox. Clarence grew up and received his education in Skiatook where he graduated in 1958. Clarence married Carol Dimmick on June 14, 1961. Clarence served his country in the United States Navy. Clarence was an Aviation Tech with the United States Navy until his retirement.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; Freddie and Edna Cox, wife Carol, daughter; Cecilia Marie Turner, grandson; Devon Dean, and by four brothers; Willie Cox, Virgil Cox, Freddie Cox and William Ray Wallis.

Clarence is survived by his son; Clarence Edward Cox Jr., brother; Donald Gene Cox, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The music for the services will be “Amazing Grace”, “How Great Thou Art” and “The Prayer”.

Pallbearers for the services are Edward Cox, Steven Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Colton Cox, Larry Conger and Kirk Turner.

The family of Clarence Edward Cox entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
