C.J. Junior Lee Ashlock

Funeral services for C.J. Junior Lee Ashlock will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Church Of God with Pastor William Vance officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
C.J. Junior Lee Ashlock, age 79, of Skiatook, died at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
C.J. was born August 31, 1934 in Turley, Oklahoma to Clyde Leo and Nellie Lee (Eades) Ashlock. C.J. grew up and received his education in Turley. He married Norma Deweese Rippetoe on September 19, 1964 in Tulsa making their home in Tulsa until moving to Skiatook in 1970. C.J. worked for CE Natco from April 1953 to June 1985 when he retired. C.J. liked playing the guitar, work and trade cars, hunt and motorcycle riding.
C.J. was preceded in death by his mother and father, four brothers, one son; Terry and by one granddaughter; Jamie.
C.J. is survived by his wife; Norma of the home, three children; Sally Hudspeth and husband James of Tulsa, James Ashlock and wife Georgina of Springfield, MO and Wayne Ashlock of Skiatook, two sisters; Gail Pelham of Hackett, Arkansas and Helen Duran of Tucson, Arizona, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Music for the services will be; “This Is What Heaven Means To Me” performed by Linda Vance and “If You Can See Where I Am At You Wouldn’t Cry” performed by Clarence and Willie Ashlock.
Casket escorts are; James Perkins, Robert Clifton, JD January, Johnny Capps, Don Laughlin and Bob Crofford.
Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
