Tulsa radio legend Chuck Stevens, who passed away at 52, has been a staple on the airwaves for the past thirty years. Starting out right out of high school, he found himself working beside radio legends at KVOO, onto KAY-107 and spent many years at Mix 96.5, and the voice of KTUL channel 8. Most currently he was the host of the breakfast club at 100.9 Totally Awesome 80's. Born and raised in Skiatook, Oklahoma, Chuck loved softball, music, and fellowship. A friend to everyone he ever met. Chuck loved to sing, and with his golden pipes and love of Merle Haggard, he formed his own band, Merle Jam, which became a staple in the Tulsa entertainment scene. Chuck, a proud uncle to Caleb, Colton, and Chloe, and godfather to Dom, Gio, and Zavia. He is survived by his mother, Patti Wynashe, and his sister, Melissa Wynashe Bench and close family friend Mindy Campbell.
The Family of Chuck Stevens has entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
