Funeral services for Charles David Jones Sr.,  will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Charles David Jones Sr., died at 4:48 a.m.  Saturday, November 29, 2014 at his Skiatook residence.

Charles was born October 26, 1939 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma  to William and Ethelee (Mondier) Jones. Charles grew up and received his education in Sapulpa. Charles served his Country serving in the United States Army. Charles married Helen Louise Stockdale November 6, 1961 in Colorado Springs, Colorado making their home in Skiatook since 1977. Charles was employed with the Local Union 592 Boilermakers. Charles liked to hunt, fish and coon hunt.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife; Helen, one son, and by one brother.

Charles is survived by his four children; Cheryl Gaddy and David Johnson of Tulsa, Dana Tindell and husband Bill of Skiatook, Jeff Jones and wife Linda of Sperry and Debra Phillips and husband Tom of Skiatook, two sisters; Mary Jane Lovato of New Mexico and Barbara Hayhurst of Skiatook, thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; “Amazing Grace My Chains Are Gone”, “Holes In The Floor Of Heaven” and “Any Man Of Mine”.

Casket escorts for the services will be; Jeremy Gaddy, Charlie Jones, Matt Reimer, Shawn Phillips, Grant Creighton and Chase Capehart. Honorary casket escorts will be; Nathan Gaddy, Matt Roberts and Ken Noble.


Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
