Died - December 8, 2013 Tacoma Washington
In life, Charles Douglas Hannah resided in Tacoma, WA and was the Co-Owner of Union Avenue Compounding Pharmacy. Charles had an extensive background in all areas of healthcare pharmacy practice that ranged from managing patient care in both Retail and Compounding Pharmacies as well as managing patient care services in both the Acute Care Hospital and Outpatient Clinic Settings at Good Samaritan Hospital’s in both Seattle and Tacoma WA.
Charles was a loving Son and enjoyed and was deeply committed to helping others in all circumstances. Charles loved gardening and raising beautiful herbs and flowers. He loved entertaining and spending as much time as possible with all of those he loved. He was generous and kind and made friends easily and loved meeting and interacting with everyone he met. He went above and beyond to meet the needs of patients, coworkers, friends and family. He had a gift of lightening everyone’s day and making those that knew and loved him laugh and feel the world was a better place. Tragically & sadly his life was cut short and he will be deeply missed by all of those that were blessed to know him, love him and have him in their lives.
Charles Douglas is survived by his daughter - Mollie Bennett, his parents – Charles Bush and Barbara A. Hannah, his brother - Harry William Hannah and wife Rachel, one Uncle Raymond Norris and wife Helene’, of Vienna, Austria, - Cousin, Scott Patrick Norris and wife Stacy Nicole and Son Dillon Scott Norris, One great Uncle - Wayne Newport, close family friends Timothy Wood and Kim Burkes of Tacoma, WA, Special family friends - Marty Bennett-Abele, Jerry and Mary and Todd Bennett and a host of other dear friends, colleagues and patients. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather and Grandmother - Reverend Harold and Betty Norris & Paternal Grandmother Nell Cowieson of Washington, PA. He is loved and we will all deeply miss him.
