Funeral services for Charles Larry Blakeman will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the First Baptist Church with Joe Rozell and Ricky Casillas officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Larry Blakeman, age 86, of Skiatook, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his Skiatook residence.

Larry was born july 9, 1931 in Skiatook, Oklahoma to Richard June and Nanabelle (Keeth) Blakeman. Larry grew up and received his education in Avant. Larry married Kathleen M. goodman on May 12, 1971 in Avant making their home in the Avant and Skiatook area since that time. Larry was a farmer and rancher most his life. Larry had also been employed with Osage County for 12 years where he was a dump truck driver. Larry like to tinker with things, working with his cows and working on his tractors.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother and father, 1 brother and by 2 sisters.

Larry is survived by his children: Lavina Newman and Becky Carson, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be: “Amazing Grace” and “Dancing In The Sky” performed by: Stacy Bankston.

Pallbearers will be: Kyle Eastridge, Kendall Eastridge, Jerry Magee, Anthony Hudson, Ryan Hudson and Kyle Kohlmeyer. Honorary Pallbearers are: Marvin Forbes, Kyle Blakeman, Cody Miller, Spook Rasberry, Luke Long and Wayne Wood.

The family of Larry Blakeman entrusted his care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
