Carol Jean Miller, age 79, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior at 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, in Tulsa at the Porta Caeli House.

Carol was born November 21, 1944, in Norwalk, Ohio to Howard and Mary (Pebbles) Boyden.

Her mom would remarry to Luther Bob Courtney and they raised Carol in Tulsa, OK. She received her education in Tulsa, graduating from Central High School. Carol married Allen Lee Miller Sr. on March 6, 1968, in Tulsa, Oklahoma making their home in Tulsa until moving to Skiatook in 1975.  Carol was a waitress, Nurse’s Aide, and a cafeteria manager for Tulsa Public Schools and Union Public Schools. Carol loved cooking, and collecting lighthouses and coffee cups. She was committed to praying and  studying her Bible.  Carol was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sperry.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and by four sisters.

Carol is survived by her husband, Allen of the home, five children- Cathy Ellis and husband David, Denise Miller, Christopher Brannaman and wife Kathleen, Vickie Yarbrough and husband Jason, and Allen Lee Miller Jr.; brother, Sammy Boyden, sister, Ellen Mattews; ten grandchildren- Rob Jones, Justin Jones and wife Erica, Samuel Brannaman and wife Heather, Adrea Green and husband Joe, David Logan Ellis and wife Nikki, Brady Ellis and wife Rachel, Breanna Troglin and husband Michael, Katlyn Yarbrough, Allie Miller, and Bradley Miller;  fourteen great grandchildren- Madison Jones, Cannon Green, Corbin Jones, Cadence Ellis, Ryker Green, Koris Ellis, Emily Brannaman, Eli Brannaman, Huxley Ellis, Juniper Ellis, Rupert Ellis, Oakland Ellis, Fitzwinston Ellis and Ruslynn Troglin; along with several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
