Carol Ann (Parker) Douglas

Funeral services for Carol Ann Douglas will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 in the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Nielsen, officiating. Interment will follow in the Osage Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Carol Ann (Parker) Douglas, age 88, of Skiatook went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Skiatook.

Carol was born April 29, 1935 in Leedey, Oklahoma to George Washington and Lillion V. (Woods) Parker. Carol grew up and received her education in Leedey where she graduated high school in 1953. Carol married Richard Lee Douglas on November 1, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Carol was employed with AT&T where she was a electronics assembler, Nurses Aid, Foster Parent for nearly 100 children and caregiver for Bradley Douglas. Carol loved kids, cooking, baking, sewing and loved reading and spending time with her family. Carol was a member of the Ascension Church.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; George and Lillion Parker, husband Richard Lee Douglas, children; David Douglas, Emmet Douglas, Phillip Douglas and Bradley Douglas, siblings; Elsie M. Patton, Vivian Woerner, Vera Haynes, Wanda Casey and Betty Holland.

Carol is survived by her two children; Stacey Douglas and Richard K. Douglas, one brother; Clarence Parker, one sister; Mary Allison, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Music for the services will be; “Amazing Grace”, “Looking For That City”, “I’ll Fly Away” and “I’ll Meet You In The Morning”.

The family of Carol Douglas entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
