Carmenita Francis “Carmen” Montgomery

Carnenita Francis “Carmen” Montgomery, age 46, of Skiatook, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 27, 2019 in Tulsa.

Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the First Baptist Church West Rogers Campus with Rev. Heath Tucker officiating. A Private family interment will be held at a later date.

Carmen was born September 3, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois to Obie and Dorothy (North) Hixson. Carmen grew up and received her education in Claremore where she graduated in 1990. Carmen also attended TTC where she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. Carmen married Warren Ray Montgomery on April 16, 2011 at Woodward Park in Tulsa making their home in Skiatook since that time. Carmen loved sewing, cooking, art, media, camping, outdoors, volunteering and was 138th FSS Key Spouse. Carmen was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Carmen was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother; Mike and brother-in-law; Anthony.

Carmen is survived by her husband; Warren, children; Corey Lee Montgomery and Sabrina Renee Marie Montgomery, one brother; Danny Spaulding and wife; Melissa, sisters; Jeannie C. Fairchild, Charlotte Richardson and husband; Jack and Sheila Hixson, stepson; Warren Ray Montgomery II, two grandchildren; Grayson Montgomery and Max Montgomery and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Carmen Montgomery has entrusted her care and services to the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
